Otsego Club - Classic Course - Gaylord

The Classic Course at the Otsego Club (formerly the Hidden Valley Resort) is one of Gaylord's oldest golf courses. Today it is joined with the newer Tribute, a stunning course on the other side of the property.

In a golf hot spot full of modern courses, the Classic comes off as a little out of date. Greens are slow, conditions iffy, and it looks like the Otsego Club is letting it wither on the vine a bit. The layout is pretty bland until the last four holes, which are very strong and exciting, including the short par-3 17th and a dramatic short 18th that looks over the main ski hill.
