I have played this course many times over the past 4-5 years. I keep wanting to like it because it is located between friends who live east of Ann Arbor.
The course is challenging enough, with a variety of doglegs, topography changes, and undulating greens. My reason for giving this course a negative rating is the horrendous customer service. Curt service at the front desk-more than a few times, and one instance of a greens mowing person-who continued to mow the green as we stood within 30- 50 feet ready to chip onto the green. I might add that later the same day we met with very polite and courteous greens keeping staff! But the rude guy mowing the green was unreal. I have played at least 40 rounds of golf this season alone-and have never met with this. There are too many other nice courses in the area to endure this type of inconsiderate and mindless behavior!
