In one short year, new ownership has committed to improving the facilities. Fairways are 50% better than last year. Clubhouse has undergone a major renovation. Parking lot re-paved, new sign, etc. I know there were tree removals but I haven't played those holes. Greens also 50% better and manicured compared to one year ago. Looking forward to continue playing and watching the improvements.

The new owners are making some nice changes however, they have priced themselves out of the neighborhood. $20 (weekday senior rate) to walk 9 holes is just ridiculous and way higher than the other/nicer courses nearby. Sadly, I'm done with them.

Golfers beware if you plan on purchasing a 2023 golf membership from Rolling Hills Golf Club at 3274 Davison Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446. GET IT SIGNED AND IN WRITING! My dad missed most the 2022 golf season sitting in the hospital with me while I fought stage 4 cancer. I wanted to do something nice for him for Christmas so on 12/22/22 I went to Rolling Hills and purchased a Monday – Friday membership with a cart. I was quoted a price and told I received a discount due to purchasing it pre-season from Zack. I gave the gift to my dad at Christmas and he was very excited. He received a call from Martin, the new pro they hired on 1/17/23 after I had purchased the membership. He informed my dad that his membership did NOT include a cart. I was very upset as that is what I told Zack I wanted and that is what I was told I bought in good faith. I was so embarrassed since this was a gift and mad because they would not honor what I was told I purchased. I went and got a refund because at this point I don’t want to patronize a business that operates like this. Pro Tip: You can improve the course as much as you want but if this is how you plan on treating long time customers you will not have any.

Late in 2022 the course went under new management. Greens and fairways are well kept and more improvements are in progress. Friendly staff too.

Mature course. Doing the best with what they have. Fairway mowing and cleanup is sporadic. All in all, a charming slump-buster

If I could give this course zero stars I would. I am 17 years old and can drive a car around but I cant drive a golf cart around.....what?! The guy working the pro shop seems like he has never played golf before because he said "walking takes the same time as riding in a cart" I couldnt believe what I had heard its blasphemy. There is no difference between teebox, fairway, and rough they all interchange with each other. You could do donuts in a monster truck and it would make the course better.

Old school course. Not very interesting but you can post a nice score. Pace pf play was awesome 3 1/2 hours to do 18 holes. Be forewarned that this site is not accurate and its $30 for 18 holes.I mentioned twice that the site says $27 but got no satisfaction. Probably wont be back anytime soon.

The sign on the road is worn, rusted and crooked. A simple fix to the sign may make this course more appealing. However, lack of effort displays a lack of pride = worn out course.
