- Very well-maintained. Challenging course that demands some accurate shots off the tee. Variety of challenges through front and back. Long course. Ladies/Senior tees provide some meaningful distance relief. Make par on #2, #11, #16 or #18 and you'll have earned it! New Ownership has done a nice job of seamlessly transitioning it. Staff is top-notch. Partner and I enjoy stopping in just to eat or even for dinner without golf. Beautiful clubhouse and patio.This is the best track in Michigan. just wish i lived closerGreat long course for anyone looking for a challenge. Beautiful views and on Potter lake so a lot of wild life. Just a great place to spend the day!Grass range, nice chipping and putting area.
Key is to play from the correct tees for your talent. Every hole is in front of you so easy to visualize what shots need to be hit. Course is in great shape.Have never played. The pictures are horrid. I got nauseous from looking at it. I will send my hospital bill.this is the best track in Michigan
always well keepSugarbush is great course for someone looking for a scenic classic golf course . Tree lined fairways and wetlands . Greens and fairways are in great shape . Don't be surprised to see fox or deer in your fairway . Water in the form of a pond , wetland , or lake come into play on many holes . Bunkers are in good shape . Don't be afraid to play up tees . It is a challenge from any tees.
