Good, bad and ugly

The good is definitely the greens and general atmosphere. The bad was the rough. Anywhere off the fairway the grass was so tall and the the ground had many dips and holes that finding your ball was an adventure. As a beginner I made a drive that was straight but short of the actual fairway and never found my ball. I can handle losing a ball on slice to the trees or rough but on a straight shot, ugh. The ugly, the bunkers. Well not even a bunker. Hard packed dried dirt. Didn't need to rake because it was so hard. I still enjoyed the course and will play it again. Others complained about no cart service. Finally had someone drive by on the 16th hole.
