Reddeman Farms Golf Club sits just eight miles west of Ann Arbor but the acres of surrounding countryside make it a peaceful escape. The course has a challenging but playable layout that will appeal to golfers of all skill levels. Those looking for a place to "grip it and rip it" rather than playing a round of target golf will enjoy this layout. Golfers who can keep their shots fairly straight will find that putting for birdie will be their main challenge. The wide-open fairways are nicely balanced with challenging greens, hard to read greens where it can be easy to three-putt. The front nine is more open than the back nine. Both nines finish with memorable holes that require a tricky carry past water. A good tee shot is essential on the par-4 ninth and reaching the 507-yard 18th hole in two is practically impossible.

I'll be fair, I played it a couple years ago, but I'm bored at work, so here it goes. Its an ok course. Layout is good, decent mix of very fair holes, with a few challenging ones. Not a dramatic design, but it is scenic, and It feels very secluded out there, peaceful even. And though you're not too far off 94, you don't hear the noise, which is nice. Clubhouse is pretty nice also. Tee to green, conditions were good, but I expected a little more attention to detail. I vaguely recall the first hole having a sprinkler somewhere on the green, topped off with a plastic cap. Or maybe that was the previous hole location. Either way, I thought it was very odd. Play it, see what you think, for the price its worth a shot.

Played on July 4th. Never again! No marshal, no ranger. Staff is very friendly. Did not cut greens on the 4th????? I know it might have been to speed up play, but it did not. It only made for a bumpy, grainy untrue round.

This course is challenging yet fun to play. The greens make you want to throw your putter in the water but it's a great course for those long shots. Make sure you hit the practice green before heading out. The club house is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is good.
