I agree with everything said before. This is a well-designed, attractive, interesting course and, for the price, an incredible bargain. The course is very walkable (except for the bizarre routing of holes 11 and 12 for which you pass you go from 10, past 12, to get to 11, and then from 12 past 11 to get to 13). I love that the course presents challenges and yet is very playable for the average golfer.

I love this course. I would put it up against any other course based on the price.
The course makes me feel like I am playing in northern Michigan.
If you have not played it you should.

For a county-owned course, this is tough to beat. Very beautiful and championship quality. Haven't played it in about 10 years so won't comment on conditions, but it was certainly worth the sticker price back then.
