I love coming here, the prices are the best around and the bar/restaurant has really good burgers and sandwiches.

This is a nice course that is well matured. The holes are tight but with a "down the middle" approach tightness is not a major concern. As in any public venue friendliness of staff is critical. The staff at the hills are awesome. Club house staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

This is one of my favorite courses because it's not to hard and not to soft. For the golfer who enjoys friendship, comfort, and nice golf this is your place!

Probably one of the best courses to play. It's a very enjoyable place to shoot 18. I enjoy this course a lot because it's never crowded and usually there is never a ranger stalking your every move. If your not looking for the most intense golf course ever this is your place. Anything goes here and that's the most enjoyable thing about it

This course is NOT for anyone who fancies themselves a "GOOD GOLFER". That being said, Thorne Hills IS a nice experience for an average to below average golfer that understands we can't all be long and straight like the pros. There are a couple holes that require long and straight, in the event you think it's always going to present you with a par opportunity. Forget that! LOL! But, there are also several holes that, with a long (265) straight tee shot, you may find yourself putting for eagle! All in all, a very enjoyable golf experience. AND, it is very affordable.

I laugh at anyone that talks this place up. If you can shoot under 40 here, you probably have trouble shooting much lower than 50 at a respectable golf course and that is probably why you would like it. Standard grass and turf conditions with many areas of dead grass.

If you don't like to challenge yourself and want the cheapest price you might differ from my opinion. If you fancy yourself a golfer you might want to look elsewhere.

I give it a star because it is possible to golf here. That being said it's kinda a anything goes place. Serious golfers BEWARE this is the domain of the wife beater golf shirts and aromatic medicinal smokes.

Cramped fairways. And two things I really hate. Hillbillies and mosquitoes.

Not a course that I can reccomend to others. Holes are crammed in and it is very common and necessary for you to take cover when you hear "fore"

More or less this is a beginners course and not for experienced golfers.

I really like this course. I don't play that much, so I don't want to be really challenged. I can play my normal decent game and score 40 or less. The fairways aare fairly wide and the greens are very puttable. We are both seniors and we can both golf their special ( 18 holes with a cart for a total of $28 ). If we can play 18 holes with a cart for $28 on a decent course, I will keep going back. The people who run the course are always friendly and give you the feeling that they really appreciate our business.
