I think the staff is very friendly. I golf there a lot and no problems with most of the staff. You never know when you are going to see wildlife on the course.

I have played this course for many years and have heard numerous people complain about the rudeness of it's staff.I myself have had several issues w/ staff members "having a bad day". The course itself can be nice if it was kept better. Most of the time the greens are unputtable do to ball marks. If Willow someday decided to take its course seriously and higher employees that cared then it could be a decent course. As of now unless you're paying $20 or less, I would recommend that you go elsewhere.

Why are the workers at the metropark golf courses so rude. They always make me feel like I am a bother to them.

Played 3 weeks running in July 2014 and found the course to be in pretty good shape. Greens were not slow, not real fast. Personnel were cordial and friendly.
The layout is very good, with holes that are varied with some challenge to them. The 560yd par 5 hole is very approachable and forgiving - huge landing area from the tee and second shot is the same. The only criticism I would give is the overhanging tree on hole 7. It is a short hole, 305 from the tip. If you hit a great tee shot to the corner you are hosed by the tree. You need to be right of the tree at least 30 yards to have a clear shot at the green, otherwise you are punished for a great straight tee shot. It's like teaching a dog to go outside and kicking him in the head when he does it. That tree needs to be trimmed back big time. Other than that it is a very nice track.

Played here after a good morning rain and was surprised how well it drained. I remember playing it a couple years ago and #10 was flooded completely but today it was in perfect condition. There was nothing wrong with the course except that they didn't have the water jugs out but oh well. I would give it 5 stars instead of 4 1/2 if they had a starter or ranger out there, we got drinks at the turn and 2 hacks jumped in front of us but it didn't slow down play too much. Took about 4 hrs 20 min. Definitely will check here on golf now for good deals. We played for $17 on a Sunday when normal rates are $38

This is an oldie but a goodie. The course layout is awesome. It is a shame that the course floods due to being so close to the river, but when dry, its a fun time. I would definitely go back.

when the course rangers play the course in uniform they should be more mindful on course ettique. the staff felt like it was their course only and not for the public. the manager on duty was equally rude. beautiful course...such a shame!

I wish i wouldnt of wasted my money and time. The people that work their are jerks and dont care about the customer. The course looks like its never been maintained, the tee boxes were never repaired the fairways were the worst ive ever seen in my life they were brown dry mud and its not from the weather i play courses in the same area all the time for less money and are by far way better then this place.i wouldnt suggest this course to any one. I play alot of golf in southeast michigan at alot of places and this was by far the worst and i wouldnt go back if it was free!
