- Rattle Run golf course is a very beautiful and challenging course. The country setting, rolling hills, and beautiful greens is all a golf course should be. My friends and I have enjoyed playing this course for many years. It has always been a relaxing day of golf as golf should be, however, that changed on our last round. Be aware that Rattle Run has now politicized golf. Be prepared for large political advertising flags being flown at the 1st tee. This caused my friends and I to gave a disturbing round. Enough so we won’t be patronizing this course again.Course has a good layout, but it's worn. Staff is extremely poorly trained and abrasive. With so many great courses in the area, this is not worth visiting.Best shape it's been in 16 years. Just beautiful! New owners are doing a wonderful job and really care about the conditions of play. I have 5 courses within 20 minutes from me. I drive 35 minutes and play more often here than any other course this year.

Jim CWELL WHAT CAN I SAY THIS IS OUR FAVORITE COURSE ON OUR (BELLOWS BOMBERS) TOUR! BIRDIES EAGLES ARE ABUNDANT HERE..ha ha. DRINK PRICES ARE HIGH, BUT COURSE IS FUN AND CHALLENGING.....ENJOY!!!!!Course is dry hard as a ROCK . Grass clipping all over. Mole tunnels all over . Course could be beautiful if it was taken care of .Played this course Oct of 2011, the weather wasn't the greatest but the course was great considering the conditions. Looking forward to playing it again in May of this year.If you are looking for a great course that will challenge any good-intermediate and above golfer, this is it! Water, sand, woods, hidden fairways elevated tee boxes to island like greens cover this gem and keep the interest level high throughout your game.
Sunday was my fifth time this year, and we liked it so much we booked a second tee time to make it an even 36 for the day.
We (SE Michigan)went 62 days this Summer without any measureable rain, but Rattle Run is still very green and the fairways are in great shape.
Jeff behind the desk was friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a first rate clubhouse.4.5I have golfed Rattle Run 5 times in the last month & find it very challenging & in great shape.For all those who have stayed away recently worried about the terrible conditions they are truly wrong.The course is in great shape & as a senior a great bang for my dollar.
