Gleneagle Golf Club in Hudsonville offers one of the best golf values in Grand Rapids. It is one of the area's most formidable rounds that you'll find at that price. The layout is characterized by its massive and undulating greens. They play lightning fast too, which makes them even more challenging. At just over 6,700 yards from the back tees, it's not terribly long, but it shouldn't be underestimated. Water hazards are a prominent feature, they come into play on 14 holes. There are also more than 40 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Careful course management is integral for scoring well and accuracy doesn't hurt either. Though it's a formidable layout, there are five sets of tees that make Gleneagle Golf Club accessible for a range of skill levels from beginners to pros.

- I totally enjoy playing this golf course. In the last few years the Maintenance crew are doing a great job in keeping the course in great shape. The only complaint are the sand traps. to much dirt and rocks to be called a sand trap.We played 18 holes on May 30, the course is well groomed and the greens are of ample size.
The course is very tight and you must place your shots. The tee boxes are not close to being flat and the tips on the score card are misleading for the first time playing this course. The play is very slow the price is on the high side and they sell no alcohol, its BYOB but they don't tell you that.
Playing this course, once is enough.Nice course. Unique holes with beautiful landscape. some good length too. Greens have a lot of elevation and undulation changes for their size.
Only complaint i have. Tee Boxes Need to be Flattened! - seems like a small thing, but a small fix that would go a LONG wayGleneagle is run by a Paul Jesnek. While he does a good job with the course he cannot handle any suggestions on how to speed up play. I suggested rangers one time and he banned me from the course.
This despite my spending over $1,500 a year on green fees. Dave Byker who leases the course to Paul only cares about the shape the course is in. I asked him to hear my complaints about Paul but he never responded.
This course needs new management!
