I’ve played here for a high school tournament before and it’s probably the hardest course my team has played. The course is so much different from the tips than the blues but I play the tips there usually. It’s not too long, at 6400, but the slope is 134 and a 71.1 rating. Insanely difficult!

The par 3s are really challenging and the par fives, while none are over 530, require strategy. The greens are decent but the bunkers are in great shape, some of the best I’ve ever played out of. The course is pretty open but trees are seriously in play on some holes. One of the best finishing 3 holes I’ve ever played. The 16th is a par 5 uphill OB down the left and the 17th and 18th are both long par 4s with water in play behind and to the right of the green on 17 and to the right of the fairway and also kinda in front of you on your second shot on 18. You’ll like all 3 of these holes.

The driving range is really nice and roomy and the restaurant has good food. The clubhouse is nice with good pull carts.

Not a 5 star since the staff is a little cranky but they put a good tournament together for us, the restaurant employees are much better though. Holes 2,3, and 7 are also next to the range and I don’t like the idea of a ball flying towards me and hitting a net right next to me while I’m trying to hit my shot. Also a little pricey, but for what you get I say it’s fair. A good choice if you live in western Oakland County.

This is a very nice golf course. It has varying levels of difficulty, and is beautifully maintained. The staff is wonderful. They are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend anyone of any level of golfing experience to visit this golf club.

The course itself is always in good shape. The personnel behind the counter especially Greg is totally rude every time you call and schedule a tee time. The starter is also very rude and doesn't give a shit about you as a player.I'm not sure why the city allows such employees to work there.I play many times a week and will not be going back until there are some people changes. Also if you want to play a 5 1/2 round or longer than this is the place to go.

    No beverage cart either.

I play this course alot and enjoy it everytime I play. It is well maintained and the greens are usually in good shape even with as much play this muni course gets. All of the holes are thoughtfully laid out and there are no quirky holes on the course. I especially like #4 where a well placed tee shot sets you up for a sharp dogleg to an elevated green. This course is a lot of fun and I highley recomend it.
