I've played this course 3 times this year, and love the condition of the course and the challenge. The front 9 is open and playable, the back 9 will challenge you. Tight fairways, elevated and undulated greens. Get yourself to the turn even or under par, be content with bogeys on the back. Really fun course - just wish they had GPS and USB on their golf carts.

First time at this golf course and let me start by saying I'm no "pro golfer". The manager came to us as some groups behind us telling the management we slowed them down by 15 mins yet they had just approached us less then 5mins ago. His attitude towards us was unacceptable. He told us we could either hurry up or leave and if not he would call the Sheriff. His implication that our money is less than the other players amongst other reasons is why I will NEVER return. I will also let everyone I know, know how horrible this course is!! Manager should be fired immediately!!

Played last week course was rough compared to some of the other premium courses around Grand Rapids. I do understand that it is early but there were a million leaves in the fairway on some holes. Tough track nice mix of holes. Good track if you are close but would not drive 2+ hrs to play.

This is the best course in the state for the best price! It was ranked 23rd in 2010 Golf World Readers' Choice Awards. And the 9th best value in the country. It is about time this course gets some respect. But go check it out and see if you think it lives up to its name as "Michigan's Hidden Jewel."
