Best $40 I spent this summer. New owners bringing the course back to life. Beautiful setting, friendly helpful staff, carts well taken care of. Going back for an early morning 9 today.

Played the front 9 on August 12, 2018. The fairways were very dry and dusty. The greens were (sometimes significantly) cracked and covered with black hard crust of some kind. It appeared that the watering systems were not working or at least not in use. The staff did not advise us of the conditions before we started. This may be just an issue for the 2018 season, but the course was basically unplayable. It is cheaper than resort courses in the area, but it was not enjoyable at all. Won't be going back.

This course has improved so much with new owners. Our group of 12 play all over Northern Michigan and the Farm had always been one of our very favorite. However, the previous owners neglected the course so badly we gave up playing for five year's. We heard there were new owners and have seen the course reach a wonderful level with great fairways and greens. A must play course.

Found this course on Golf Now. What a gem. We have played many of the courses in the area and this is truly our favorite. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very good with a pretty view over the hills and woods of the course. Thank you to the owners for providing us this lovely course to play.

We ( two couples ) vacation in Elk Rapids for8 days in June. We play all the good courses but always play here. It's a fantastic couples golf, very nice owners and employees great greens and fairways. Plus good drinks and great hot dogs. A must for couples.
