I had the pleasure of having our annual Mark Golf Outing at Sugarbush Golf Club in Davison, Michigan. I had worked with Tom Wojciechowski, club Manager, to put together our golf package. This was our 4th year for our spring outing. When we arrived at the course, we were courteously welcomed by the staff to help get everyone on their prospective carts. There were balls on the driving range for all to use. Before we started to golf, the staff explained what were ours and the course rules for the outing. During the round of golf, I had talked to other foursomes on the course, they were extremely pleased with how the staff helped them speed up play by helping them find their lost balls, or giving them guidance for ball placement during play. No one ever felt they were pushed by the rangers at any time. After the 18 holes, we had a putting contest and the staff had everything ready for us. As the group was putting, the staff was setting out the food and barbecuing our steaks. All in attendance did not have to wait for their food. We had a very successful outing and we would not hesitate to return to the course in the future. Since the outing, many of the golfers have returned to the course and have said there was no difference in how well the course was maintained and the courtesy of the staff was exemplary. A big Thank You to Tom and his staff.
