Hessel Ridge Golf Course
maintenance crew a menace, says reader
(May 3, 2005) - At Hessel Ridge Golf Course several holes are of interest. However, over all I found this course to be just okay at best. The maintenance staff treated us as if they were doing us a favor by letting us play. The mowers were driven within 30 feet of us as we played and sat there waiting with the engine running while we played.

Once I laid a club next to a green as I putted and the person running
the mower ran over my wedge. No damage was done but he never looked.
Another time the maintenance person mowed the collar of the green just
10 feet from where we were putting. The staff in the club house was
not friendly at all. On a scale for 1 to 10 (ten being high) the course
gets a 5 and the staff gets a 2. Go elsewhere to play if you can. Try
Les
Cheneaux Club Links, much friendlier staff.
