Silver Lake Golf Club

First time back in ten years. Conditions were good. The wife and I played and enjoyed a beautiful day. Greens were in good shape and the pace of play was great. We played in the morning at 8:30am. We will be back.

A good mixture of 3s, 4s, and 5s with a few holes with dual options of pins to shoot at. Varying dog legs and straight shots do mix up the round to keep it interesting. Minimal water hazards and high rough if you're really just trying to knock the rust off.

The first 3 holes do sit low off a sprawling water hazard that makes the ground extremely soft. That goes away about halfway through the 3rd. And it had just rained earlier in the day so it doesn't make play impossible. Just a little rough to start with in the beginning. Can easily finish in under 2 hours depending on traffic. Was very light on Sunday afternoon.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Course is very wet . fairs are so so greens wet .staff was super nice paid 17 dollars and that's a should be upper end for this course . did notice the golf clinics they were doing with the kids that was cool

Silver Lake offers some fairly challenging holes but the course was very wet and in horrible condition when I played. I played a twilight 9 holes after work and that was fine but I would rather play nicer courses on a weekend.
