Stress Free Round of Golf
First thing that stands out about this course is the greens are small but still undulating to the point of it can be difficult to hold pitch shots. The greens were rolling very nicely though. The staff was very friendly and I found the beverage selection to be better than most courses I play.
Rammler is a fairly easy course and I recommend it if you're looking to just have fun and build confidence (I hadn't played in 2 weeks and shot my best front 9 ever.
I didn't play the Par 3 course but it looks like a great way to tune up the wedge game.
If I lived closer to Rammler I would play it once a week for twilight!
Excellent Walking Course
When I think of old school parkland golf, I think of this place. Really easy to walk and they charge only $40 on the weekend with a cart but I don't usually use a cart. Still not a bad rate. Small greens and tree-lined fairways hole after hole. They still have enough water, bunkers, and elevation change to keep it interesting. Greens rolled really well for how early in the year it was. Staff is nice. Beer cart girl and rangers both young and cool people and they both help speed things along. Clinton river comes into play on a few holes so have your camera ready for some nice views. You'll sometimes even see canoers in there. Will definitely return soon.
Solid Old School Course in burbs
Holes around clubhouse that incorporate river are very good. Old school greens with a lot of charm. Course gets a lot of play so tee off early. Recommended if close by.
Excellent course for the money
We really enjoy playing this course. Staff is always friendly and course is generally in great condition!
Nice little course to learn on
Took my grandson out to start teaching him how to play. Par 3 course was in great shape, not too crowded, had a lot of fun. Will be back again. They will be remembered when my 8 year old grandson makes it to the pros!! Helps my game a lot too!!
Beautiful quaint course with lots of bridges and nice landscaping
I am a fairly new golfer so my friend and I are just starting to explore various courses. Rammler was beautiful with many bridges and beautiful landscaping. We found the fairways and greens were in good shape and we would definitely return. The one thing we experienced was a bit of a backup on the course. We didn't mind but for players that want a quick pace they would have gotten frustrated on the day we played.
