Timber Trace Golf Club sprawls across the rolling countryside that surrounds Lake Wallaby in lower Michigan. The location seems rather remote, giving the course an isolated feel, but the round is well worth the trip. The layout is routed through tall pines and the fairways effortlessly flow across the gently rolling hills. The wooded terrain is one of the course's major draws. Golfers from as far as the metro Detroit area come to enjoy this scenic round. The layout has an interesting mix of holes that offer plenty of variety. There are some tricky spots but you won't come across any carries over wetlands or ponds. Golfers will face long and challenging back-to-back par 5s starting with the 15th. This duo has the potential to ruin your score.

I played this course on Sept 20, 2017. the course is in great shape, holes are not long but greens are smaller so shot making is a premium. There is lots of shopping in the area also a nice get away. The staff and service was great.
This course is a hidden gem, not too busy, and I urge Canadians such as myself from the Windsor area to seek this place out.

Easily the best value in the greater metro area. Manicured every bit as good as Orchards or Shepherds Hollow

    A fantastic course

I am a new annual member here @ TTGC....it is a very good test of golf for all levels of play with more than adequate sets of tees for thos of us who are ....well, ...older!

I look forward to many rounds of golf next spring/summer as I have been restricted for about 4 years...surgery behind me and a few rounds in the fall convince me we made a good choice to buy property and enjoy golf at reasonable prices.
