I have been golfing at Lilac for many years, in the past it was in pretty bad condition and not worth your time. Does anyone remember when it was called "Windridge Oaks".
Since the Thorne family took Lilac over, it has gotten a little better every season. They have continued to make improvements every season without raising rates.
The course may be flat as many have noted, but play from the Black tees and tell me it's boring. You'll be to busy just trying to make pars, she's very long at 6,941 yds. from the tips. Unless you're a bomber hitting 280 yds. plus, good luck!
Lilac will give you a good challenge.
All in all for the price, how accommodating the staff is, and over all playability. Lilac is a great public course for the price.
