- Nice course but clubhouse personnel need lessons in customer relations. I showed up later than the other 3 in my group, paid, and met them on the 1st tee. After the round they mentioned that they had paid for my round. I had to drive 30 miles back to get my money back, and the person wanted to argue with me even though I produced receipts that listed 5 green fees paid for our tee time. In general I have found everyone at Kensington Metro Park woking in even the smallest position of authority to be rude. On the bike path I pulled off the path and took off my helmet to wipe the sweat from my face, and was warned over a loudspeaker from the metropark police to get my helmet back on. Power trips abound in this park.
Great lay-out, well-maintained but poorly run. Played a 5 1/2 hour round Sunday.
Club officials state that slow players do not have to allow quicker players through if they don't want to and that no one should ask to play through but only if offered.
Ridiculous. They have golf etiquette completely background.
Nice course but not worth the aggravation. Pro shop guy wasn't particularly friendly either. He actually threw the change back at one of our group. Not worth the drive or the money.
