- The most visually stunning golf course I have ever played! And that is 30 plus years. A little tricked up golf wise? But the vista makes it more than worth it!! You MUST play this! Second on my Michigan list after Forest Dunes.Ok.... Greywalls is awesome to look at!! Little tricked up for me... when my second drive of the day rolled back towards me 75 yards.... I dont know I think it took a little out of me.. I will probabaly play again someday but I am not ready to hurry up and make a 7 hr drive to play again. The Heritage course was a pleasant chance of pace after the crazyness of Greywalls. Little over rated in my opinion!!One of the most spectacular courses you will ever
play. There are many great courses in Michigan and this one ranks in the top 3. In beauty, difficulty and condition.This was a spectacular golf course to play. One of the hardest in Michigan. It has breathtaking Views and is well worth the drive from Grand Rapids I will be back Soon!!Front nine is one crazy ride with some very unique holes and great viewsof the lake. Unfortunately, the back nine becomes a bit of a let down. Still a good nine holes but can't hold up it's end of the bargain. Tough course and definitley worth the trip for the front nine alone. Bring lots of balls and a good camera!
