- Having played at 12 of the top 50 golf courses in the world including several in Scotland and Ireland, Pine Grove compares favorably due to its amazing setting and some very challenging holes. Carved out of a large area of pine trees and set up on the side of Pine Mountain, #6, 7, and 8 are as challenging as it gets. #16 and 17 are a roller coaster ride you will not forget. If you come to Iron Mountain to play Timberstone, you must add Pine Grove for a perfect two days of golf. It is very well maintained.
