Inkster Valley Golf Course
2150 Middlebelt RdInkster Valley Golf Club is located just 10 minutes from the Detroit metro area, which is why it is so unexpected to see a layout featuring over 100 acres of wetlands and rolling hills. The course runs alongside and crosses the Rouge River with water coming into play on 14 holes. The course has an interesting mix of holes including short par 4s and challenging par 3s, many of which require tricky carries over a marsh. The 11th has a particularly tough carry that has earned it the reputation of being one of the area's most challenging holes. There are some difficult elements to contend with but overall the golf course offers some room for error off the tee and on most approaches. With three sets of tees ranging from 4,500 to 6,700, it is a formidable test from the tips but quite playable from the other two tees.
