What happened to this place
Course in terrible condition. 5 holes closed completely. Should have all closed until they can get a grip on things.
Nice Course
The course is nice however the greens are rough. They made us aware of the conditions prior to starting play. Good Layout and moderate difficultly. I would play there again, since it is a nice value for the green fees.
Best Value in Northern Michigan
Staff friendliness, price, and pace of play made up for in progress course maintenance that will be complete soon. Great time beautiful scenic views.
Terrible greens
The coarse is in really poor condition greens appeared to be painted lots of weeds and dead spots on the greens. Fairways were just as bad as were the tee boxes. Very un happy with coarse conditions but was a decent layout and could be nice if there were better maintenance and upkeep. The lady at the clubhouse was very friendly and did mention the greens being not great but definitely worse than she led on to be.

Fun course to play.
Play here regularly. Great layout with plenty of challenging holes. Some of the greens needed attention due to bare spots but are usable.

Good new owners
Really enjoyed the new ownership, very professional and welcoming. They have also put in some nice progress on improving the greens. Overall, I definitely liked this place!

Greens were not good and cart paths wasn’t well paved.

The course was in terrible shape. Greens weren't cut, fairways were long, tee boxes were horrible !! I heard they have new owners who must need the tax write off because it's in worse shape than last year. NEVER AGAIN

Thanks for your feedback. The owner has been the same for the last three years. The only difference is there was a new superintendent and after a rough Memorial Weekend, he no longer works for us. We shut the course down for a week and had the whole crew working overtime to get it in shape. Our new superintendent is doing a much better job and it's a night and day difference. If you contact the clubhouse with details about your round and can confirm booking, then we will give you a free round. Sorry about your bad experience.
