NOT WELCOMING TO BEGINNERS - The golf course at snow snake is well maintained and beautiful. The staff is below average. If you enjoy standard pace of play, or if you're not an experienced golfer this is not the course for you. We were repeatedly told to hurry up by staff after being given a spiel about where the hot dog stands were on the course causing us to be 5 minutes late to our tee time. After being rushed by staff the beginner in our group no longer wanted to play to maintain pace of play - which is wasteful at $54/round. We stopped at the hot dog stand during the turn and were told to hurry on to 10. I do not recommend this course unless you want to rush through a round.

I have played Snow Snake several times. It starts out with the first and second hole nice, not overly too challenging. Then after hole two, it starts to play tough, requiring some draws to get around some holes. This is not a pokey country course. Plenty of uphill and dog leg challenge. Bring your game.
