- Absolute gem of a course! Affordable and scenic.My FAVORITE course locally!! I try to go at least 3 times a week! So beautiful and fun. The owners are just the sweetest people ever! Just enough of a challenge to make it always interesting!Nice course with challenging holes. Good for all ages and skill levels.
Would like to see the course managers use an air horn for threatening weather conditions. Otherwise, golfers are subject to a very slow notification system.The signature hole is located on the number 8 green, affectionately referred to as "The Knob". It is very clean, well groomed and pleasantly staffed - just a few minutes from US 127. By the way... their phone number changed, it is now: (989) 539-KNOB (5662)Fun but very interesting course, especially for the money!!! 7th hole most interesting hole on course, par 5, hard right dog-leg. Doing good if you can get it on on 3. 8th hole will make or break it for you!!!! Called "Devils Knob" for a reason!!! Try to play this course every chance possible. May not look like much from the road, but this year (2010), appears to be in very good condition, with greens in excellent condition. Recommend to anyone who wants to "test their skills.
