It's glad to see this private golf club is taking on a more public status, because it shouldn't be missed. It doesn't get a lot of play so the conditions are fabulous. One interesting touch is the greens have never been punched and they're as smooth as you'll find, and a little firmer than most courses. I like the design at Tullymore a little more (another Engh design) but the property & terrain here is pure northern Michigan and just about unbeatable.

A truly beautiful and challenging golf course. This has to be ranked in the top 5 courses in the state. The staff was great, even giving us directions on the phone when we got lost. This is a must play course if your in the area before they go completely private. I live in Hilton Head SC but can't wait to get back!
