Everyone has had a different story about flushing valley. I've been a member scenes i was born. This course has had its ups and downs but now, there is no where to go but up. This year 2021, they have some new staff that kick ass and will do anything for their customers. Proud to say im a member at a course like this.

So I found out that the course is under new ownership and all I can say is WOW, what an excellent experience! They've managed to bring it back to its former Country Club glory days. Greens were very consistent and well maintained. Pace of play was way above average, so that was an excellent surprise. The staff was very friendly, greeted us with a big smile and a great attitude. The Clubhouse was in immaculate shape and the staff was super attentive. We never had to wait for a refill and the food was delicious. If you haven't been back to this course in a while, I suggest you get a game in before it gets too cold to play. New cool feature is the concierge gps golf app that the course uses. I was skeptical, but downloaded the app and the cart girl found us without a problem and delivered our food and drinks just as we were pulling up to the next hole. Finally a 5 Star Quality and AFFORDABLE course without the snobby attitude that seems to pervade most courses of this caliber.

Going here Monday. While researching the course I see comments from "KM" and "Tom" that have nothing to do with the course. Sounds like a couple bad attitudes that I'd rather not run into on the course anyway. Very much looking forward to playing after reading all of the positive comments from the non crybabies who apparently know about the challenges of managing a nice course. KM and TOM, please stay home.

My first time experience today at this course was nothing short of terrible. First off our tee time reservations were not even on the tee sheet in the pro shop. We were told that we could be worked into the first tee in about 10 minutes. I half an hour later the general manager told us that we could go to the first tee now. Upon arriving there (10:30) we found 18 other golfers waiting to tee off. suffice it to say that the general manager became rude argumentative and combative with our group . He told us not to tell him how to run his golf course.
You could not pay me to come back to this golf course. I'm not sure how the owners of this facility can justify keeping this

Effective April 8, 2016 -- Flushing Valley County Club is under new ownership. Come Summer 2016 we are confident that the metro-Flint and greater-Flushing communities will enjoy much improved course conditions. We are also very confident that you'll be impressed with the level of customer service. Should you encounter any issues with the course, please call the Clubhouse and ask for Jason, Director of Business Operations. I assure you that Flushing Valley CC will bend over backwards to correct any bad experiences.

    Not recommended !
For a private course I was surprised to find such poor customer service on a Sunday after 4th of July , gentlemen at the desk was rude and unprofessional , what a shame , the course is ok , it was such a nice day to golf until we were confronted by barbaric behavior .. Flushing doesn't have much to offer in the form if entertainment , it is unfortunate that the new owner of the course let such poor mannered, rude and unprofessional employee by himself to insult the few guests
