New Rogell Golf Course is a classic Donald Ross design that has been a local favorite since first opening all the way back in 1914, which makes it one of Michigan's oldest courses. The layout incorporates all the features Ross was known for. The fast greens are distinctively sloped and the rolling fairways are lined with trees. Accuracy is essential on this golf course, especially on the holes that are cut right through the forest. The undulating terrain provides plenty of elevation changes as well as panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The Rogue River runs across the back nine, adding scenery while also coming into play on a few holes. Besides the views and challenging Donald Ross design, New Rogell Golf Course is also one of the best values in the area.
