Springfield Oaks Golf Course

A very well maintained course course that provides a good mix of challenges and holes to score on. Greens were in great shape even though this course gets a ton of play. We played on a Friday in the morning and we were really stacked up. Outstanding value for the money. 15 is a short little par that provides target practice. I liked it.

Have played this course for several years. Greens and tees are always in good condition. Front 9 is open and back 9 is tighter. Very scenic. Play can be a bit slow on a busy weekend. Staff is friendly, beverage cart comes around often. Would be happy to golf there very week.

Solid county course but slow pace of play

I grew up playing here as a kid, and have always loved this course. Hard to believe it's been nearly 40 years, Course has always been very good. Great job on reworking the bunkers from many years ago. The only thing I miss is #3 as the risk-reward short par 5 it used to be with the wicked green. Loved that hole. Don't care for it as the par 4 it's been for years, but I still love the course. Also miss the willow on #6 fairway. But the bunker there is an excellent substitute. That was well done. The Metropark system has done a super job caring for this course through the years. My hats off to them, and the grounds crew for their work.

This is a very nice course but compared to many courses in the area very over priced no twilite rate late on the weekend not much of a break for seniors $40.00 on weekends you can play many courses in the area just as nice for $25.00- $30.00

This is a course that will challenge you more on the back nine holes than the front nine holes. It was a slow day on the track, but what do you really expect for a weekend round?!

Springfield Oaks is a great metro parks course with a mix of narrow wooded holes and shorter "placement golf" holes. GN always has great deals available for this course and it is worth checking out. Beware playing before 1pm though, they must have a great senior rate because the course was stacked with retirees. Pace can be very slow.

The course on the front is wide open but the back is quite tight. Great layout.

Great course. Awesome elevation changes. Greens are medium fast with plenty of slope. Back nine is tight, but does allow some misses without losing your golf ball. If you walk, it's a heck of a workout!!! Definitely recommend playing!

This is a great course played there many times, but the pace of play is unbearably slow.

Pace of play could be grueling. Rangers do nothing but drive the course. Very nice elevation for Oakland county.

Great greens that rolled fast and true. This course doesn't play very long, but still provides a fun day of golf for all skill levels. This course is definitely worthwhile especially with a "golfnow hotdeal".

It looked like rain, I guess that's why we got such a unbelievable deal. $10 + service charge even surprised the pro shop person. It is a very pretty course, some challenging tee shots force you to think. Conditions were very good. It did rain, so we paused for just a moment, but it cleared and we finished our round with no problem. I hope to go back soon if I can get a similar deal. This is what retirement is all about!!
