- This is a really fun course, and well maintained. I'm from Michigan but I live out of state now so I always try to play it when I'm back home. Marty and his staff make everyone feel really welcomed. I will be back again this summer!Marty and his crew keep this fun 9 hole venue in excellent condition. The tee boxes and fairways are great,but the greens make the course - near perfect! There are only 2 sand traps, but the fairway lined trees are place strategically to require good tee shots to leave good approach shots to smallish greens. The island is the perfect setting for this perfect course. Challenging and fair at the same time. Well worth the drive! A Must Play Course!Looks easy, plays a little hard due to smaller green. Very well maintained. Fun to play with the whole family. Maybe the best nine hole course around this area. That’s what they strive for.been PlayiNg This course For 4 Years On Our Annual Visit To Coldwater Lake. Always Well Maintained. Never Crowded, And Very Friendly Staff. Feels Like An Oldie (1932!!) Smallish Greens, Lots Of Mature Trees Lining The Fairways. A Great Practice Course For Serious Golfers, And Lots Of Fun For Anyone. Highly Recommended.
