First time, last time
Course is mismanaged, unprofessional and understaffed. Tee box and scorecard yardage are grossly inflated. I would not recommend playing here.
Great local course
I have played a lot of golf in Michigan this year and find this course to be excellent condition. The greens are fabulous and the landscape is so nice you think you are a tour thru a garden. The Owner is a hoot to talk with. It is a great place to relax play on a qaulity course and not have to put up with the uppity golfer types that you cringe to be around at a lot of places.
Terrible Customer Experience
If you like your golf course shop staff to be more challenging than the actual course than you have found the place!! The lady working the front desk is probably the worst person I've ever seen in the golf industry. Nothing communal about this community golf course. Grand Rapids has so many better courses and places that respect golf. Instead of coming here I recommend Maple Hill, Diamond Springs, Glen Eagles, The Meadows, The Mines, The Pines, Maple Hill simulators, golf galaxy, a Youtube course vlog, Indian Trails, LE Kaufman, volunteering your time, replay of the 1997 Masters, Bagger Vance, tennis, short to medium range nap, or a driving range.
I play this course every Thursday w/6 to 12 guys. We have the same tee time play front one week back the following. Not at all hard for a good golfer. Condition is always EXCELLENT.
Nice local course, reasonable price
I played the back nine with my 8 year old son because it was shorter and wasn't much traffic. Course was in good conditions. Greens are slow and the course was short, so it was perfect to take my young son. Staff was very friendly. We will play here again.

They keep the course in great conditions, though the greens are slow. Short course with many drivable par 4's, even for the average golfer, but you need to hit it straight , many tree lined fairways.
