New owners need to pay attention

Having a large corporation in Grand Rapids take over a small, home-town course has taken away the many positive management decisions that made this course and restaurant a joy to play and visit. Clark Lake Golf Course used to have great food and the best burgers around, but now, they are using pre-made burger meat which make their burgers dry. One local league who has been at Clark Lake for over 40+ years has had their fun night and another outings either taken away because of double bookings or the amount of holes played shortened with no other golfers or outings signed up. Some local decisions have been based on current manager’s golf league. Not cool!

I hope you give us another chance. The new owners, my wife and myself, live 2 blocks from the Course. We had purchased the Course just a few weeks before you played. Since then we have added Greens Mowers, Greens Rollers, Sand Pro a Kubota Tractor with TriMax Mower, Work Trucks and much more.
The 10,000 sq ft Clubhouse has had major renovations adding a New Sports Bar and an 1,800 sq ft patio. That list of improvement's is too large to include here.

just ok

To flat and little trouble to get in not much different between the ruff and fairway, greens where hard and flat with easy approach shots where your ball would run up on
