Solid 9-hole Muni
Solid muni that you can pair with the other 9 hole course in town for 18. Difficult to play in season and easier to get on in off season.
A return to my golfing roots
I took up the game as 10 year old and my first round ever was at this muni 9 holer and spent a few summers playing every other day. A very busy course mainly reserved for residents of Birmingham. The holes are all pretty much straightaway but was in very good shape (much better than it was in the early to mid-70's). Greens rolled nice with good slopes, traps maintained and rough was pretty lush. The town renovated the course several years ago and flattened out what used to be rather pronounced ridges on the 1st and 8th both of the par 5's. Also sculpted mounds and other areas so balls return to play. The 4th hole is still as tough as ever. The parking lot is directly behind the 9th green which is a dead up hill 176 yard par 3 finish - so park as far away from the fence behind it as possible. Serviceable renovated clubhouse with nice covered outdoor patio/tables with typical golf course food. Warm up nets. Bathrooms on course behind 1st green near 7th green 8th tee box. Lincoln Hills is a pleasant parkland course not too taxing but provides enough challenge to keep your interest. Really enjoyed my round with some old grade school/high school buddies.

Great 9 hole golf course, clean friendly and the course is kept neat. Hard to get a tee time for non Residents

The course is great features however my reservation was not in the computer and had a difficult time convincing them that I already paid
Busy 9 Hole Course - Eh.
I got a good deal on 18 holes, only to arrive and find that it was a 9 hole course and they wouldn't let us make the turn--despite the fact that we were playing early morning and the league was afternoon. The course was ok, not super exciting, long grass--overall not a great experience.

very green greens recently double verticut still true rained during round but able to view radar and return to play quickly close to home
