Very well designed and fun to play. Dramatic holes w/ elevation changes and some holes which are relatively flat. I'd play it more often if I lived closer.

I've played this course for many many years and seen it go through several changes. The last several years it has returned to the great place it had been in the 90's when Troy S. had been the pro there.

The pro who took over several years ago is doing a great job of turning it back to the wonderful course it had been. You won't find a more beautiful course or a more challengingly round.

    Had hoped for better ...

Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club has its pluses such as fast greens and a well-stocked pro shop. However, the prices are high, the staff is arrogant, and golfers are treated almost as if there are NO OTHER courses in the area for us to take our business.

When heading out for a round, you want a bit of a challenge, some fresh air, friends, enjoy a cold one or two, etc. But I'll tell you, there are many nicer places to play that seem to appreciate your business, than Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club.
