Great Conditions
Course has great conditions for public course. Layout is over flat terrain, but Bill Newcomb made up for it by providing large, undulating greens.
Great addition to any golf trip and worthy of being paired with other local resort courses.

Great scoring chances
If you are looking for a quick stop on the way north to play courses like The Gaels or Black Lake this is a nice course that is very affordable and easy to get out on. If you find the fairway off the teethere are pplenty of hood scoring chances. Many of the par 5's are easily reachable in 2 for better players.
