A terrific course with many subtle challenges. The beauty of well established trees of many different species would make this a spectacular experience simply to walk, especially in the spring and fall. But of course the task at hand is to compete with the designer for pars (or at least bogies).

This is a difficult but enjoyable round. It plays longer than the card suggests and there were a few moments when I wondered if I was up to the quality of my surroundings but playing the 9th and 18th holes made it all seem worth it.

Jack Nicklaus competed here when playing for Ohio State. The course hosts state-wide qualifiers. It was designed by the famous Alistaire McKenzie.

A great ,old fashioned course that test your game and will jump up and bite you if your concentration lapses.

Always kept in great shape though during football season there is some impact from thousands of cars parked on Saturdays.

A highly ranked course nationally and with good reason. Enjoy it if you can get on. UnfortunTely, you can only play if you have an affiliation with U of am, or as a guest.

One of the great golf courses in the country. Large greens will challenge your putting, the rolling hills make for visually interesting fairways, and it's length demands that you use every club in your bag. If you're in good shape, it's a walkable course which will increase your enjoyment.

Whenever we come to Ann Arbor, we make a reservation to play it.
